We’ve written a letter to the Leader of Thanet District Council, UKIP’s Chris Wells. We very much hope Chris will agree to an emergency meeting with us.
Dear Mr. Wells,
As you may be aware there has been a great deal of local interest in our campaign to safe guard our livelihoods and the Thanet Enterprise Centre.
We are now in touch with both journalists and radio reporters as this issue has gained attraction.
We have an online petition, website and Facebook page plus considerable and rapidly growing local community support. We believe that the decision to auction off the Thanet Enterprise Centre has been made without full consideration of all the facts and that there has been a failure to take into account the income generation by Thanet Enterprise Centre. That meaningful consultation and discussion has not happened.
We are requesting an urgent meeting with you to explain our concerns.
We would be most grateful if you could kindly agree to meet with us as a matter of urgency?
We look forward to hearing from you.
